This year has been a whirlwind. We are still in the throes of covid (whether we like it or not), though it sure feels like we are trying to go back to the pre-covid (before covid? B.C?) bustle and a faster pace of life.
When the load seems heavy, take it off, right? But how?
For me it’s like sitting down at a table. Life is the preparation of the meal - the excitement, the piecing together, the creativity. And then, when we finally sit down at the table, whether it be with friends, family, or our beloved sassy cat staring at us from their throne, we have made it. We have that moment.
In a snapshot:
Taking a load off I’ve been on my feet all day
I’m really f*ing hungry
A pause to use our senses and smell that slow cooked pasta dish
The conversation (yes with our cat, or in our head - whatever you need, hunny)
We are bringing people, wine and space to think together about these experiences. Do we ever take time to just be? To savor? What does that mean?
Come journey with Women in Wine RVA + Heal with Keonna as we take some time to start the conversation about how do we take a load off? And come sip on some thoughtful wines while you’re at it!
About Heal With Keonna

Her mission is to create space for folks to breathe, reflect, and show up for their personal healing and the healing of our community. Her work currently consists of curating and facilitating healing spaces, educating and empowering youth with tools to both practice and teach mindfulness within their community, and holding space for individuals committed to their healing through one-on-one healing sessions. Through these offerings, she plants seeds of healing that supports individuals and communities in breathing deeply and breaking generational cycles.
